ABOUT

Sandor Lubbe has been an intrepid figure of the creative industry with a career spanning over 30 years in the field of arts and advertising. Having acted as Art Director and Consultant for several different companies Lubbe maintains in-depth knowledge across the disciplines of fashion, photography and art.

In 1990 Lubbe set upon his first foray into the world of publishing establishing himself as the creative voice and co-founder of Art View, which later went on to be known as Identity Matters. Soon after that Lubbe conceived the cult fashion and arts publication DutcH, an international cultural authority in 1994. Playing curator to the industry’s most auspicious talent, DutcH cultivated a resounding visual legacy that persists to this day.

Lubbe now occupies himself as Co-Owner and Editor-In-Chief of international title ZOO Magazine – a laudable force within the realm of visual culture, with a bias towards its founding German heritage.

In a melodic progression from publishing, Lubbe has also earned much acclaim for his work behind the lens through his own masterful photography. The deliberate and unbleached style of his work has gained Lubbe many acclaimed subjects including artist Jan Fabre, Ulay, Johan Tahon, Oda Jaune and Will Mcbride. His lengthy career as a photographer has led him to collaborate with a range of talents across arts and culture including stars of cinema like Isabelle Huppert, Nina Hoss, Nora von Waldstätten, Aylin Tezel, Delphine Chanéac as well as many musical names such as the iconic KISS, Till Lindemann, Jay Brannan, Kim Fowley and many more.
